Today is a very good day for me. My latest book, Blooming Write, was published yesterday. The book description says that –
‘Blooming Write started as a year long challenge to improve Melanie’s life. She wanted to record her journey, and the final outcomes in this book. The aim was to work through her Wish List, looking at the good and bad points along the way, in the hope that it would inspire others to do the same.
However, due to unexpected circumstances during that year, and how those affected her Depression, the outcome was a book which not only documented her original journey, but also, so much more.
During the course of that year, Melanie literally went from one of the darkest times of her life, to one of the happiest. This all happened because of her writing.
Blooming Write is suitable for any writers who just can’t seem to get the words out onto the page. It will show you how to beat procrastination forever, and to bloom beautifully as a writer.
Writer’s Block will become a thing of the past if you follow Melanie’s advice, and you can then be more productive than ever.’
Like most writers, I am always pleased when a project is finished. I know how many hours we each put into our work. Once finished, I always have a huge sigh of relief, despite the fact that I really enjoy my work.
Each book project really is like giving birth. It takes a huge amount of effort, and can be quite painful at times. Despite this, I am already half way through writing my next book, Simple Pleasures and Hidden Treasures. I will let you know more about that when it is nearer publication.
Later this month a revised version of my book Simply Does It, also comes out. I have collaborated with a writing friend to add a fresh point of view to part of this. I do hope that you will like it.
